Ievgeniia-Diana Furda
Winnipeg, MB
Ievgeniia is a member of the Winnipeg Branch and a student at the University of Manitoba K. She is in the Faculty of Science, pursuing a degree in engineering. During her studies, levgeniia-Diana also enjoys playing instruments such as the piano and bandura, as well as reading. She is very excited for this new executive term and looks forward to working with fellow CYMKivtsi to bond over the four pillars of CYMK!

Vira Bilan
Toronto, ON
Vira is a proud member and Vice President of the Long Branch (Toronto) CYMK. She is currently in Grade 12 at Lakeshore Collegiate Institute and plans to study Business and Finance after graduation.
In her free time, Vira loves reciting poetry and dancing - both of which allow her to express her creativity and stay connect to Ukrainian culture. She is very excited for this year and looks forward to bringing new ideas, energy, and teamwork to help CYMK grow and unite youth across Canada!

Daria Severson
Calgary, AB
Daria is a member and past president of Calgary's newly active CYMK branch. She is currently in Grade 10, and her favourite subject is science. Outside of school, she is passionate about Ukrainian dance, as she enjoys both performing and appreciating other forms of artistic expression. Daria is very excited to serve as National CYMK Secretary and looks forward to planning and participating in activities that will bring together CYMKivtsi from across Canada!

Luke Saranchuk

Luke is a dedicated member of the Winnipeg Senior CYMK, where he has been involved for six years and served as President of the branch for two. Luke is currently studying Computer Science at the University of Manitoba. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, reading, and watching movies.

Christina Pazuik

CYMK has been Christina's family for over a decade, a community that has shaped her faith, friendships, and sense of belonging. She has served on both the Long Branch (Toronto) executive and the national executive this past term, and has discovered the strength of the love shared across Canada. Now in her 1st year of medical school at Jagiellonian University, she's cheering on the next generation of execs and can't wait to keep growing the CYMK family.

Michelle Kowalchuk

Michelle Kowalchuk has been Advisor for National CYMK-UOY for the past two terms (since 2019) as well as Advisor for Winnipeg Sr. CYMK for several years. She has had a lifelong connection to CYMK-UOY, starting as a CYMKivets in Oakburn, MB and later in Winnipeg and has seen both of her children, Talia and Max grow up in CYMK. Michelle is a strong supporter of youth-led activism and understands CYMK-UOY provides an important opportunity for our community to nurture the leaders of tomorrow! Professionally, Michelle is a Social Worker who has worked with children, youth and families for over 30 years and currently spends significant time volunteering to support Ukrainian newcomers through her involvement in UCC Manitoba and Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Metropolitan Cathedral.
