WHO WE ARE
CYMK-Ukrainian Orthodox Youth is a unique Canadian organization based out of UOCC parishes for youth from grade 3 and older.
Founded in 1931, CYMK-UOY exists primarily to provide youth of the parishes with a social base and a sense of community where they can learn and practice their faith, learn and develop as community leaders, and learn and practice the culture of the Ukrainian Orthodox community. The youth group is unique in that it is self-governed and manages their own funds, albeit with mentorship from parent, parish and priest advisors.

WHO CAN JOIN
ANYONE! If you embrace the Ukrainian culture and Orthodox faith, then CYMK is for you!
CYMK is organized into 3 levels: local, provincial, and national.
At the local parish level, CYMK is organized by age - Junior & Senior. As a result, programming can vary depending on the interests of the CYMKivtsi.
JUNIOR:
ages range from Gr. 3 - Gr. 8
SENIOR:
ages range from Gr. 9 and up
