Presently there is only one CYMK local in Saskatchewan. The Anna Papish CYMK branch of Saskatoon has approximately 35 members.

Two years ago, the Saskatchewan Provincial CYMK Executive started hosting an annual, themed May Jamboree at Green Grove camp on Wakaw Lake.  So far we have hosted a “Wedding in the Hai”, with guest speakers being His Eminence Bishop Andriy and Rev. Fr. Eugene Maximiuk. Many CYMKivtsi attended from both Saskatchewan and Alberta – what a fantastic weekend!

This past year the May Jamboree at Green Grove Camp was held on May 28, 29 & 30, 2010 with an “Iconography” theme. All Senior CYMKivtsi (14+) and Ukrainian Orthodox youth from across Canada were invited. His Eminence Bishop Andriy attended and Mrs. Vera Senchuk conducted the Iconography sessions. There were various social and outdoor activities where CYMKivtsi were able to “break the ice” and get to know other CYMKivtsi from different regions. Overall, it was a GREAT SUCCESS!!
